ADE 2026: The Nights That Matter

Thirty years. Five days. More than 200 venues.
These are the nights that matter.

In 1996, Amsterdam Dance Event started as a two day industry meeting. Thirty years later it takes over an entire city. From Wednesday October 21 to Sunday October 25, ADE celebrates its 30th anniversary with a programme expected to pass 3,300 artists, from canal side clubs to warehouses, theatres and planetariums.

The numbers from last year explain the scale: the 2025 edition set a new record with around 600,000 visitors and close to 3,500 artists. With a programme this big, nobody can see everything. So we went through it and planned the week for you, day by day.

Wednesday 21 October · Opening

The anniversary opens with its guest of honour. Jean-Michel Jarre plays the official opening concert at AFAS Live, celebrating fifty years of his landmark album "Oxygène". Few artists represent the history of electronic music better.

At SugarFactory, Awakenings hosts the ADE Opening Night with 999999999, Adrián Mills, FUMI x Serafina and Novah. And at Ziggo Dome, Black Coffee delivers a special three hour set.

Thursday 22 October · Peak-time techno

Drumcode with Adam Beyer takes over SugarFactory with Awakenings, alongside Enrico Sangiuliano x Ilario Alicante and Kevin de Vries x Konstantin Sibold. For something warmer, Glitterbox ADE lands at Thuishaven, while Intercell brings a 999999999 old school set to H7 Warehouse, with DJ Hyperdrive b2b Supergloss and Yasmin Regisford.

Friday 23 October · The busiest day

Awakenings runs from day to night. By day, Joseph Capriati presents Metamorfosi with The Martinez Brothers and Cloonee. By night, the Friday Sessions bring Ben Klock b2b Philippa Pacho and JakoJako b2b Rødhåd. Over at NDSM, DGTL hosts an extended live show from Tinlicker.

Hidden gem: Off Script x Moodyverse on the Veronica Ship, from 15:00 to 21:00, with Maarten Spoor b2b B-Type, Stoac b2b Avant, Cyantist b2b Denes Toth and Milan Steenwinkel b2b a secret headliner. Capacity is limited, so move fast.

Saturday 24 October · The melodic night

Our pick of the week: Mind Against presents HABITAT x Loveland at Mediahaven, from 23:00 to 06:30. Three rooms with Colyn, Mathame, Mano Le Tough, Marcel Dettmann and Mita Gami. It sold out in 2025. We were there, and it was unreal.

The rest of the night is just as strong: Adriatique all night long with Awakenings, Lane 8: This Never Happened at Kromhouthal, Joris Voorn + Jeff Mills with Awakenings, and a five hour daytime set from Eris Drew & Octo Octa at Bajes.

Sunday 25 October · Closing

Prophecy by Prospa marks the duo's Awakenings debut at SugarFactory, with ISAbella b2b Traumer. DGTL closes with Folamour All Day Long, and Intercell brings Chloé Caillet to Levenslang for three hours.

Gashouder is back

The legendary Westergas hall returns to ADE in its pre-opening season, and the line-up matches the occasion: Eric Prydz, Armin van Buuren b2b Benwal, Job Jobse and MOCHAKK CALLING.

Elsewhere in the big rooms, David Guetta brings his Monolith show to AMF, Skepta returns with an even bigger Más Tiempo takeover at Warehouse Elementenstraat, KI/KI plays two five hour shows and Klangkuenstler goes all night long at Ziggo Dome.

Beyond the club

• EINDER, Boris Acket's monumental installation.

• Swan Lake Remixed, as Het Nationale Ballet and ISH open ADE.

• Dome Concerts, with Max Cooper at ARTIS Planetarium and Fabrique des Lumières.

By day, the ADE Pro conference brings together agents, labels, managers and producers: the business side of the scene.

• SugarFactory is in Halfweg, between Amsterdam and Haarlem. Plan your ride back.

• One extra hour. On Saturday night, clocks go back from 03:00 to 02:00.
