Releases Roundup: ARTBAT's Upperground, Hernán Cattaneo, Aarón Sevilla & More

ARTBAT present Upperground "Selected" — featuring Adam Sellouk's "Hypno Therapy"

ARTBAT and their Upperground imprint launch into 2023 with the second edition of their Selected series: four powerful tracks from SashaCarassi and Husa & Zeyada, Losless, Adam Sellouk and Roman Kyn, all of them the backbone of the duo's sets over the last few months. The label comes off the back of a sold-out New Year's show at Zamna Tulum, with many more Upperground events coming, making 2023 a very strong year for the Ukrainian artists.

Adam Sellouk's aptly named "Hypno Therapy" doesn't disappoint: a powerful saw bassline that opens and closes the track, with a trance-infused lead melody that makes it truly hypnotic and spiritual.

Adam Sellouk began making music at just 16. Since launching his project two years ago, he has focused on finding the perfect balance between melodic/progressive techno and house, earning support from John Summit, Nora En Pure, Meduza, ARTBAT and Miss Monique. Built on Tel Aviv's local techno scene, he has become one of its most respected talents, and his Purified Records debut, "Mirage", keeps making its mark.

Hernán Cattaneo — "Future Memories"

"El Maestro", as he is known worldwide, arrives with "Future Memories", a tour through his best creations. Based on the live shows at Teatro Gran Rex developed during the pandemic, the album covers his discography plus songs made especially for those shows: 19 original tracks produced and written mostly by Hernán Cattaneo, Oliverio Sofía and Pablo Alejandro Carr. Remembering the past, with a look to the future.

Aarón Sevilla — "Look Around" ft. Sebastián Rivero

In the last year, Aarón Sevilla has grown internationally, visiting more than 15 countries and performing for the first time in Europe and Africa. It has also been a year full of releases on some of the best Afro house labels, such as Abracadabra, Union Records and Nervous Records, supported by Black Coffee, BLOND:ISH, Malone, La Santa, Bedouin and Simone Vitullo, among others.

Chilz & Las Prez — "Temperatura"

"This song was born from an Instagram story I posted tagging Las Prez, inviting them to collaborate. The creative process flowed fast; we finished the song in less than a week. For the video, the idea we liked most was a dance battle. The song has a very unique vibe, and you can feel the harmony between the instrumental and the vocals."

Sebastián Mora — "Hitboy" & "Hardboy"

"It's the series of albums where I lay down all my musical foundations: Hitboy, my favorite, with the most peak-time and melodic tracks, and Hardboy, where I show my hardest side, with trance and raw influences. Personally, Hitboy marks a before and after in my career. It's the best I've done, and I love every track on it."

Kevin Ganora — Sun & Snow Festival

"I'm super excited about my near future: coming back to Europe to play Sun & Snow with such big international artists confirmed, at the top of the beautiful white mountains of Sierra Nevada, Spain. According to Red Bull, it's one of the best snow festivals in Europe." Kevin's early 2023 dates included Tulum, Playa del Carmen, Isla Mujeres, Tijuana and Sun & Snow Festival in Spain (March 31 – April 2).
