Long before chasing bigger stages, HANAN chose something far more difficult: becoming the kind of artist whose music reflects the life she truly wants to live.
Some artists spend years searching for the right city.
The right opportunity.
The right audience.
HANAN believes the search begins somewhere else.
Within yourself.
Before becoming one of the rising names across Mexico's electronic music scene, the Tabasco-born DJ experienced something that quietly transformed the direction of her life. Living abroad made her realize that the world was far bigger than she had imagined. But it also taught her something equally important.
Changing places doesn't change who you are.
Only self-discovery does.
That realization eventually led her to music, not simply as a profession, but as a way of transforming personal growth into shared experiences.
Today, whether she's performing across the Riviera Maya, southern Mexico or festivals like ¿Por Qué No? Festival in Mexico City, every set begins from that same place: authenticity.

For HANAN, people rarely remember every track a DJ plays.
They remember how they felt.
That's why every performance begins long before the first song.
She studies the venue.
The energy.
The intention behind the event.
Only then does she begin building a musical journey.
"I no longer see genres as labels. I see them as emotional languages."
That perspective allows her to move naturally between melodic house, afro house, organic sounds and deeper electronic textures, creating sets designed to meet people exactly where they are emotionally.

As her name has become increasingly present across Mexico's electronic music scene, HANAN believes the reason isn't marketing.
It's authenticity.
"When you begin trusting yourself, your decisions become more aligned with the life you want to build."
Rather than creating a brand, she sees herself creating a way of sharing music.
A vision.
A feeling.
She often reflects on the fact that every great artist believed in something long before anyone else could see it.
She's simply choosing to remain faithful to her own.

Interestingly, HANAN's growth hasn't been driven by original productions.
It has come through live performances.
She sees no contradiction in that.
The stage has allowed her to discover what kind of artist she wants to become before translating that identity into music.
Production, she says, will come when she genuinely has something to say.
Not because the industry expects it.
Every city.
Every audience.
Every journey.
Becomes part of that future music.

When asked where she hopes to be in five years, HANAN doesn't immediately mention festivals.
She talks about freedom.
Traveling the world.
Creating music.
Building projects that bring together art, nature and community.
Living a life that feels aligned with who she truly is.
For her, success isn't reaching one specific stage.
It's waking up every morning knowing she's creating from a place of honesty.
FUTUREMAG REFLECTION
In an industry that often rewards speed, HANAN reminds us that the strongest careers are rarely built in a hurry.
They're built through alignment.
When an artist stops asking where they belong and starts asking who they are, every stage becomes a consequence rather than a destination.
Perhaps that's why HANAN's story feels less like the beginning of a career and more like the beginning of a life lived with intention.
