Two years at the top of DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs (2023). A leading DJ on the global electronic scene, originally from Ghent, Belgium, Charlotte de Witte has forged her way from the underground clubs of her hometown to become a techno icon.
Charlotte began her journey in 2009, exploring Ghent's vibrant clubs and falling in love with electronic music. She took her first steps as a DJ playing electro, and two years later she moved into music production.

The rise to fame
Her talent didn't go unnoticed. In 2011 she won a Studio Brussel DJ contest, which took her to the prestigious Tomorrowland festival. Facing prejudice, she adopted the stage name Raving George and released her debut EP. After hits on labels such as Bad Life and Crux Records, her single "You're Mine" became a real hit.
Charlotte then made a bold move: adopting her real name as her artist name and releasing her debut EP, "Weltschmerz", on Turbo Recordings. Her rise continued with notable EPs and singles like "Heart of Mine" and "The Healer". In 2019 she founded her own label, KNTXT, showcasing other talented artists.
Charlotte has left her mark on renowned events such as Junction 2, Boiler Room and Printworks. In 2020 she performed at a virtual Tomorrowland, showing her resilience during the pandemic, and her love for music was also reflected in her collaboration with Italian DJ Enrico Sangiuliano.
Making history
On July 30, 2022, Charlotte made history by becoming the first woman to close the main stage at Tomorrowland. Techno, her signature sound, resonated like never before, marking a milestone for electronic music.
In a music world still facing gender inequality, Charlotte stands with prominent DJs like Amelie Lens, Nina Kraviz and NERVO in the fight for equality. Her dark, avant-garde take on techno wraps the audience in an unforgettable sonic experience.

Mexico City
On the night of October 28, Charlotte played Mexico City for the first time, at the Hipódromo de las Américas for Zamna Mexico City, coinciding with the Formula 1 Grand Prix weekend. It was a unique night presenting the talent of her own label, KNTXT, and it left a lasting mark on the CDMX electronic scene.
