Carmine Conte and Matteo Milleri, known as Tale Of Us, are among the great visionaries of techno today. Their abstract sound has evolved into something tangible that works in the best clubs around the world.
The symbol of Afterlife, as they describe it, is "the man who launches himself into infinity", representing the exploration of different realities and a quest for innovation.
In 2016 they founded Afterlife and began their odyssey through the realm of consciousness. During their residency at Space in Ibiza, their lush, atmospheric sound won over audiences and critics. Their sets reached another level thanks to the visuals and art projections that accompany every performance. Tale Of Us doesn't seek to be known for millions of plays, but for its ability to break poetic and emotional barriers, connecting the classic with the current and the disruptive with the harmonic.
The Afterlife night
The Afterlife night was a true audiovisual experience, with people from all over the world gathering for a moment of cosmic exploration with some of the most avant-garde artists in the world.
The Italian duo premieres a set every year with plenty of new music and jaw-dropping new visuals. This year, attendees were treated to the Afterlife logo spinning in the sky, formed by drones.
Tale Of Us and Afterlife returned once again to the jungles of Tulum with a lineup that included Mind Against and Adam Port, the latter playing back-to-back with Tale Of Us at closing time, under a grandiose Tulum sunrise.
Tulum's otherworldly environment fused with futuristic, space-age production and expansive visual installations, surrounded by endless rows of tropical trees and crystal-blue waters. The journey took the audience through three zones: the Main Stage, the Island Stage and the Pool.
