"Since I was young I listened to electronic music, but mostly the mainstream artists of that time, like David Guetta, Armin van Buuren, Tiësto and deadmau5.

"In 2009 I had my first encounter with more underground styles like tech house and deep house. By 2012 I was studying to become an economist, but it wasn't my true passion. It wasn't because I didn't do well at school, but because I was doing it out of obligation to my family. So I decided to take a different path. At the time I didn't know which direction to go in, so I took DJ classes while figuring out what to do. From that day on, I embraced it as my career and way of life."
Embarking on the odyssey of a lifetime
In the early days of my career, I was known as a DJ who could adapt to many styles within electronic music, so promoters often chose me for warm-up or closing sets. Without a doubt, my residency at AM Local had the biggest impact on me, because that was the club where I used to party before becoming a DJ and where my passion for electronic music grew. When I became a DJ, it became my resident club.

What does playing Ultra Music Festival, Burning Man and Medusa Festival mean to you?
Performing at events of that magnitude was a dream come true, because it let me share the stage with artists I'm a fan of.
Which tracks have had the most impact on your career?
I've had two number ones. The first was "Te Invito", a collaboration with the maestro Mijangos and Mixjay, which reached number one on the Afro Latin house charts in 2022. After that I had a number one on Beatport's Afro house chart, also in 2022, with "Delirio", a collaboration with Fernando Praga. Since then I've had several Afro house tracks in the top 10, such as "Hipnotízame", "Una Latina en Tulum", "Escorpio", "Ella Quiere Fuego", "Caracas de Noche", "Amaneciendo", "Salsero" and "Bhaylam", among others.

What's next for Aarón?
We started the year with great shows abroad, reaching Europe, Africa and the Middle East for the first time. For me it's a dream come true to go to these places because of music, after many years of effort and perseverance. An extensive summer tour is coming, with many new countries and cities like Montenegro, Albania, Turkey, France, London, Mykonos, Bali, Thailand, Ibiza and Angola, among others.
For the rest of 2023, expect a lot of music, with collaborations coming with great artists like Manybeat, Peppe Citarella, Mestiza, Tayllor, Mijangos, Toshi, Soldera, Masianello, Eran Hersh, Joezi and Carlinhos Brown, among others.
